چکیده
Learning dashboards can increase awareness, support control and observation, promote reflection, visually stimulate understanding by summarising the data stored in learning environments. Self-regulated (SRL) is one of most utilised theories while designing developing analytics systems. learners are active their education; they get prepared, monitor regulate performance using various strategies, finally reflect on whole process. In this chapter, process a dashboard to learners’ SRL will be presented. A design-based methodology was employed order understand needs iteratively improve design. analysis, group interviews with university students showed that wanted specific tools aids for each phase. Moodle has been selected as environment since its modularity allows easier modifications expansions. design, experts’ opinions lead choosing appropriate components utilising application programming interface (API) (blocks, events, logging, tasks) match actions log data. After controlling reliability kappa statistics, developed, enabling see status forethought, performance, reflection phases. Learners more detailed information when interact dashboard. Design implications opportunities future research discussed.

The Learning Analytics Dashboard (LAD) is an application to show students’ online behavior patterns in a virtual learning environment. This supporting tool works by tracking students’ log-files, mining massive amounts of data to find meaning, and visualizing the results so they can be comprehended at a glance. This paper reviews previously developed applications to analyze their features. Based...

why some learners are willing to communicate in english, concurrently others are not, has been an intensive investigation in l2 education. willingness to communicate (wtc) proposed as initiating to communicate while given a choice has recently played a crucial role in l2 learning. it was hypothesized that wtc would be associated with language learning orientations (llos) as well as social suppo...
Learning analytics of the relationships among self-regulated learning, learning behaviors, and learning performance
This research aims to investigate the relationship between self-regulated learning awareness, learning behaviors, and learning performance in ubiquitous learning environments. In order to conduct this research, psychometric data about selfregulated learning and log data, such as slide pages that learners read, marker, and annotate, was collected. The accessing activity of device types that stor...
